We have to turn the audio off at practice, so I'm trying to throw some music in the background instead of dead air. YouTube scrubs a lot of songs in the posting process (I put some Led Zeppelin to the Robinson practice footage that got cut), but this one got through. As 2000Blue alluded, it's not something you'd hear on the radio, but it's a good disc all around.

Tom wrote: "John Lennon must be rolling over in his grave." As much of a rebellious, artsy attitude as Lennon had, I have a feeling he would have no problem with contemporary artists sampling his music. I think he would have actually liked rappers doing this, especially if it involved social or political commentary. I can remember how it was when the Beatles were "contemporary," and a lot of older people said they were "ruining music." Music ended up "surviving" the Beatles. And it will "survive" rap, ska, punk, alt, emo, and whatever else evolves.

That's a great song by Danger Mouse on Jay-Z's unofficial White Album. The entire album mixes Beatles beats with Jay-Z lyrics. It's pretty sweet.

Ugh...that kills a classic Beatles tune. That must have been one of the Michael Jackson owned songs from the Beatles catalog that he pimped out because he needed the money. None of the Beatles or their estates would approve that. John Lennon must be rolling over in his grave. Anyway...good video, thanks
