Pioneer grad Danny Frank named MIAA tennis player of the week

Pioneer High School graduate Danny Frank, the No. 1 singles player for the Albion College men's tennis team, was named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Player of the Week.

Frank earned a 6-1, 6-0 victory in singles and joined teammate Billy Sessions for an 8-3 victory in doubles during the Britons' win over Trine University.

No. 4 seed Albion meets league champion Kalamazoo College in an MIAA Tournament semifinal on Thursday.
