After two seasons as a defensive stopper and post prescense for the Pioneer High School boys basketball team, senior Jamie Henry is still getting used to his new role with the Pioneers.

But there he was following Tuesday night's game against cross-town Gabriel Richard, squinting to block the unfamiliar bright lights of a television interview and deferring any credit for the Pioneers' 47-41 win to his teammates.

"I'm trying to be that," Henry tells another reporter about the go-to scorer label he's added to his repertoire. "But whatever coach wants, I'll listen."

Not that Pioneer coach Rex Stanczak can want much more.
