Detroit Red Wings goalie Chris Osgood will wait a little longer for his 400th career NHL victory. He was denied it Thursday in a 4-3 loss to the St. Louis Blues.
Detroit fell behind 4-1, and outshot the Blues 29-11 in the final 40 minutes.
"After we got our legs going in the second we generated a lot of chances, especially in the third,'' Red Wings captain Nicklas Lidstrom said. "We had a flurry of chances to tie the game. They were desperate defensively, throwing themselves in front of shots, and their goalie was playing well.''
