Good grief RR, Does this laundry really need to be aired out in the media? Talking about a closed door meeting in which you discuss things with your QB is insanly poor judgement on your part. Although it gives me some insight into the idea that you do not see eye to eye with our boy Tate. Could that have something to do with his performance on the field?

For a true freshman, Tate's performance is outstanding. Don't want him? Send him down South to the SEC. We will take him in a minute. Tennessee, Florida, Ol Miss, Georgia and South Carolina would love to have him. I have never seen such vicious fans on a true freshman as U of M lounge chair experts.

Maybe he should be like Lloyd and stair down the reporter when asked a comment. He is giving the reporter too much option to keep prodding when they should be backing down.

Danny, I don't see where anyone has said anything that bad about Forcier or indicated they don't want him at Michigan. Michboy40 was obviously ribbing RR. And yeah, Forcier had some issues in a few games--Michigan State, for most of that game...Illinois in the second half, Penn State for almost all of it. He's a freshman, and I, at least, understand that. I don't think Michigan would even have 5 wins right now if he weren't here... certaintly the Notre Dame game would have been lost. He should be something special next year. I just wish we could clone him about 11 times and put those clones out on defense...especially this Saturday...
As for clearing things up, RR coming out and saying something different happened than what Forcier said...doesn't help things. It has the implication of calling Forcier a liar. And from all the drama we've heard surrounding RR from day one, between the two of them Forcier is not the one who seems like a liar...

Forcier is a talented young man. All of 19 years old. There is no doubt in my mind he has performed to the best of his experience and ability every second he has played. Absolutely no beef with Forcier. He will be a good qb. My on-going grief is the total lack of coaching and confidence building by the head coach. How on earth did he have success at WV? Did AD Martin personally hire him? I respect L.Carr. Hopefully Carr did not endorse RR? I will cheer from the heart for Michigan on Saturday. Maybe...just maybe the team will take charge and prove to themselves they are worthy of wearing the big block M.

Dear Coach (hopefully not too much longer) Rodriguez,
It's tough enough to have a man at the helm with a lack of coaching fundamentals who's destroying the program, it's even worse when that same person opens his mouth and embarrasses the University.

I believe this man can assemble, train and operate a winning football team. Maintaining the prestige of a Time-honored Institutionalized Football Program however...I believe at the moment he's in over his head here at Michigan.

Gary Moeler wasnt "Drunk", he just had a "Buzz".
Lloyd wasnt "Fired", He "Resigned".
Michigan isnt "A bunch of loosers", they are "Differently Talented".
Richrod didnt get caughtup in "Speculitive Real estate", He was "Scammed by a Ponzi".
See how just changing the words makes everything so much nicer :)

As usual, much ado was made about nothing. It's funny how the UM program is under attack by trolls and wannabes who are jealous of their sustained success and want to tear the program down while it is having a couple of down years. It's great of RR to straighten things out while keeping a level head about it. A lot of coaches wouldn't be nearly as nice as RR was. Bo comes to mind.
It would be quite entertaining to see what Bo would do if he had to take as much crap from the media as RR has. I am guessing there wouldn't be half as much access as there is now. Maybe that's why UM has had a reputation for being tight-lipped for so long before RR got here.

Tater
Bo would be swearing, smashing things, Drinking, overturning tables, and in general making a scene. you probably wouldn't want to be near him, and if you were a reporter you wouldn't dare ask him a stupid question.
Maybe a little passion and intestinal fortitude is exactly what we need right now, instead we have a guy who comes out with a bunch of "Clinton" speak and a general disliking of going 1-7 in the big ten, but no fire.
