Hkrueg16' The key to the game as is every UM game, Denard. He is 90+ percent the UM offense. He cannot get hurt or they are the same team as last year with a worse defense. You remember, last place in the B10. Denard has been knocked out of every game so far this year, but don't worry he doesn't get hit as hard or as much as a drop back passer, right Tater?

Yeah thats right forget about history. "Those that fail to learn from history are destined to repeat it" Great coaching Richrod, just forget about that old history. In fact why study game film? Thats just"old history stuff". They won't repeat that stuff on us. You go get im coach.

NoBowl4Blue We all know that UM has a bad pass defence. I suppose that after a W @ Indiana you are going to have a 'vision' and say "I told you all that M did not have a pass defence, see I was right." Come up with something better to say. GO BLUE!!!!

Metalc0reJ: " It will be interesting to see if Michigan gets down 10-0 or something in the 1st quarter, how Denard and the team respond, having not faced a two-possession deficit yet this year." Wasn't UMass up 17-7?

I'm expecting a game that's too close for comfort. My heart's going to be pumping relentlessly between big plays for the Wolverines and big plays for the Hoosiers. It will be interesting to see if Michigan gets down 10-0 or something in the 1st quarter, how Denard and the team respond, having not faced a two-possession deficit yet this year. Getting down early is always a possibility, especially on the road in a conference game, and this is the best team top-to-bottom that we've faced all year (although you could argue that Notre Dame is, since they're 7 points away from a 3-1 record and have played much, much higher competition than has Indiana). Winning or at least breaking even on the turnover margin is a necessity. Not only this game but all year. Turnovers plagued us last year. The kid kicking extra points seemed to have plenty of leg, let's hope he'll be able to make some field goals if need be. Tackling, special teams, turnovers. If we're decent in those areas all year, we're a 10-win team, easily. If we're sub-par in those areas, we're an 8 win team. If we're bad in those areas, we're a 6 win team. Based on what I saw of Indiana last season and how their best offensive players are back, I expect an absolute dogfight. If we pilot our plane better, we'll be shooting the Hoosiers down.

We are 10 point favorite against IU. We will be fine with the Hoosiers 45 - 24. I expect that UM will be about a 5 point pick over MSU. But, this rivalry game will be a very physical dogfight -- and somebody's season will be ruined by the final outcome.

I'm sticking to my 7 or 8 wins, that I predicted before the season started. MSU is my swing game. I hope they prove me wrong and win 9+.

KEYS TO A "W" AGAINST INDIANA..Michigan has done a pretty good job holding on to the ball thus far(knock on wood) they will need to have very little(1)to zero turnovers..Are young secondary needs to make some good plays and stay consistent all through the game against ben chappels talented and proven recievers..ONE VERY IMPORTANT THING IS the defense can NOT forget indiana can RUN the ball!!!!!!!!..lastly DENARD has to be DENARD if he can keep drives alive on third down michigan should score enough points to start off 5-0(1-0) heading into the MSU game. Im glad to here they wont lose focus just because they are 4-0 agaist 4 mediocre teams. GO BLUE!!!!!!!

That's the best thing to do. If they focus on "now" they'll be more prepared.
