One area of concern, however, is the current recruiting class. Of the eight currently-committed defensive players--all of whom are out of state recruits, only one of them (safety/linebacker Marvin Robinson) was offered by the top school in their home state. I would wonder why the schools with the inside track on these recruits arent deeming these in-state kids worthy of offers, yet Rich Rodriguez is. Id like to give him the benefit of the doubt, but he hasnt really shown himself to be a miner of diamonds in the rough of late. Copied from theozone.net

Why they don't call a play that TAKES the probability of pitch and fumble out of the equation. Can we put our guys in better positions when they're on the field,in other words, if you know they are young/freshmen,let him just HAND IT TO MINOR(stick it in his bread-basket)Do away with the pitch! We didn't need THE PITCH PLAY!!!The play callin' is killing us!Can we keep it simple until they can prove that they won't turn the ball over? GO BLUE!!!NO turnovers at Wisc.

"We just need to play better." And coach better... this guy is throwing all his players under the bus, taking no blame for repeated 3rd quarter meltdowns.

Yeah, they were cruising for an easy win until the pitch play. Tate needs to know when not to pitch it, especially if someone is tackling the running back. I don't like how one play causes this team to collapse. We'll see how well they play at WI. My initial thoughts are for a WI blowout, WI 31 UM 13 but may be if the offense can just open it up and have fun than it may be a close game?
