You can sum it up as youth, young kids make mistakes and they may not have the maturity yet to recover from these mistakes. That's why you saw some of these games seem to unravel. Though, some of this has to be coaching to teach these kids not to fall apart. No, this team will not be much better next season. The defensive starters will be even younger and I will be looking to see improvement in the defense from the first b10 game to the final b10 game. We'll have to see how the RB's develop, since if they are slow to develop we won't have much of a running game then Tate will have more pressure on him. Overall, the offensive will continue to improve and I'm predicting another 7-5 record! I went with a 7-5 record this season but they lost their gimme game at home against Purdue and I thought they could have won one of the road games against IL or MSU. My judgment season and turnaround season is 2011!

chosen1 There haven't been any rape charges filed. If this was a case that was really strong, there would be charges already filed. The female could have gone to the hospital and been checked out to see if there was physical evidence of a rape. Apparently the two players that were kicked off the MSU team played a part in the situation in EL over the weekend. Amazingly the name Winston appears again. The player Dantonio marveled at how he had changed and was welcomed back to the team, turned out to be the loser he was identified as all the time..

Rothstein, do you think for yourself, or are you just a parrot? The Rodriguez blame game idea certainly isn't original... at least, give credit to the source when it's due; see story: http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootball/story/12559911/rodriguez-spoils-image-with-spoiled-display-in-defeat

Here is a very interesting story from the WSJ with a way to fix Michigan's woes. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748704779704574551852323420822.html

amaizenman.....just like they havent released the name of the freshman here, they aren't releasing names there as there hasn't been enough evidence to arrest anyone. This story did make it onto espn. Im sure it will be in the freep. calm down and before you going throwing stones, remember we had a kid kicked off the team and was known to be arranging cocaine deals while on the football team here last year (feagin). Also there was the walk-on who beat up Kampfer. And no matter how you feel about sparty, rape and sexual assult is a far more serious crime and its victims may never recover from it

How come we don' see the latest incident in EL plastered all over the papers concerning the MSU football players involved in beating up people in a dorm on Saturday night??? The incident involving a freshman football player that hasn't even been charged with anything was big headlines and front page news in the freep and on this rag. Based on history at MSU, even if the players were involved they will be welcomed to the team and Dantonio will pull whatever strings necessary to keep or get them out of jail. Remember Winston, he is the example MSU lives to be like.
