Samford University's Andy King came off the bench to score a career-high 20 points, including a key 3-pointer with 75 seconds remaining in Tuesday night's 58-56 win over Eastern Michigan.

It was the first road win of the season for Samford (5-7) and the first loss at the Convocation Center for the Eagles (6-5).

Carlos Medlock scored 19 points for Eastern and Brandon Bowdry added 16 points and 13 rebounds. It was Bowdry's seventh double-double in 11 games this season, according to EMUEagles.com.

With the victory, Samford head coach Jimmy Tillette became the first coach in school history to reach the 200-win plateau, according to the Samford athletic department's website.
