Southeastern Conference dives into swimming season

The first round of Southeastern Conference swimming and diving dual meets were held at various locations Tuesday night, with Pioneer and Saline posting sweeps and Skyline splitting head-to-head contests with Adrian and Ypsilanti.

Results from the meet matching Huron, Chelsea and Monroe were not available.

At Lincoln: Pioneer wins all 12 events -- taking four of the top five spots in five different races -- to cruise past Lincoln and Tecumseh. (Story | Results)

At Saline: Freshmen David Boland and Adam Whitener win two individual events apiece in Saline's sweep of Dexter and Temperance Bedford. (Story | Results)

At Adrian: The host Maples win 8 of 11 events to sweep Skyline and Ypsilanti. Skyline picks up a win against the Phoenix. (Story | Results)
