Starting 5 dominate as Eastern Michigan women's basketball team pounds Western Michigan

Tavelyn James led four Eastern Michigan women's basketball players in double figures Saturday as the Eagles thumped visiting Western Michigan, 84-59, at the Convocation Center.

James, who averages 21.9 points a game, had 21 points, six assists and four rebounds as the Eagles improved to 10-6 overall, 2-1 in the Mid-American Conference. Paige Redditt had 19 points and 11 rebounds, Olivia Fouty had 18 points and 11 rebounds and Natachia Watkins had 11 points and nine rebounds. The starting five for Eastern combined for 77 points.

Jazmine Windham led Western (5-12, 2-2 MAC) with 12 points.

I believe EMU is now 3-1 in the MAC, not 2-1 as stated
