Strong first half propels Huron past Detroit Renaissance

WESTLAND -- For the second time in as many games, Huron High School boys basketball coach Waleed Samaha left a high-profile showcase game concerned about his team's second-half play.

Of course, you can be a little less concerned when you're up 22 points by halftime.

That was the story at Tuesday night's Rocket Roundball Classic, where the River Rats took command early and held on for a 75-60 win over Detroit Renaissance. (Rest of the Story | Boxscore)
