Yesterday, I renewed my subscription to what was the Ann Arbor News. Seriously. If *this* amateur effort, both in content and presentation, is what I am paying for, you can bet it is the LAST time I renew. This is terrible. I wouldn't watch you again for free, and I certainly don't want to be paying for it.

These two look so uncomfortable on camera that it made me uncomfortable watching them. They need to walk to the admissions office and enroll in some Oral Communications classes. Was there any prep before this segment at all? How many "uhs" can you get in a four-minute clip anyway? Mike and Dave, stop staring at each other, quit the fidgeting, and look at the camera (hint: that's your audience). Oh yeah, Mike, there is no such word as "gunna."

Mike: You almost made me "lose" my dinner. UM will not start 0-2, nor is there any "divide" in the UM locker room. Please leave the negativity to the so-called "writers" in Detroit who don't have enough talent to write anything else. I don't know what's worse: the Columbus style where the home team has odorless feces, or the Ann Arbor style where the home team gets treated like feces. Either way, it isn't any fun trying to walk in its vicinity.

The only "fracture and divide" I sense is NOT in the locker room, but rather the supposed fans of Michigan and the media in Ann Arbor. Enough drama already! Those of us who have played sports and follow them know the allegations are bogus and completely over-blown! I'm ready for kickoff, and I'm quite sure the players are FAR more ready for it than I am...not thinking about investigators or bad condo deals. GO BLUE! MICH 31 WMU 21

Ah... okay guys. Thanks for that. Not exactly sure what that was... Tuned in for some sports talk, got a bad dose Psych 101 instead. Michigan by 17

Mike, Dave - can you guys do us fans all a favor? Bring a pack of yellow sticky notes to the press box tomorrow. Write "Yellow Journalist" on each one, and stick them all over the Freep's spot when they're not looking?

Have either of you ever played an organized team sport? Your superficial analysis appears to indicate a lack of understanding...more of speculative outsider. Michigan teams have historically rebounded strongly from bad or so-so years. Although the talent on the team may be offset by inexperience, a highly motivated team could erupt here. Of course if you have it right, this won't happen because "the current controversies have to have" a real negative effect. Bet you got this one really wrong.....

Why do you guys still insist that there are players currently on the team who complained to the Freep? The article said 10 current and former players, but it appears that the only current players they talked with are Hawthorn and Stokes. Is there information out there that indicates that any player CURRENTLY on the team complained to the Freep? Please address this or stop assuming there are current players trying to undermine the program.
