Mario Teixeira, a Huron High School senior, had never been on the winning end of a soccer match against Saline.

The River Rat forward changed that Tuesday night, scoring all three goals in Huron's 3-2 victory over the Hornets in a Southeastern Conference Red Division showdown in Ann Arbor.

"Never beat Saline in my life, it feels amazing," said Teixeira. "They (Saline) underestimated us. They were talking trash all week, but we were confident."

With the River Rats' win, Huron and Saline tie for the SEC Red title. (Rest of story | Boxscore)
