The Boss's faux pas comes just in time for Ohio State-Michigan week
Good morning, Ohio.
Wait, what's that? We're actually in Michigan?
Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band perform at the Palace of Auburn Hills, Mich. Springsteen, 60, greeted the crowd with "Good evening, Ohio," a gaffe he repeated several times during the show before bandmate Steven Van Zandt corrected him.

You'll have to excuse us this morning for making the same mistake The Boss did Friday night at The Palace. It's a mistake that serves as a nice appetizer for this week's Michigan-Ohio State football game, which always stirs some bad blood between the states.
Right now, we're sad to say the Buckeye State is looking pretty good from this vantage point.Â
Ohio State is headed to the Rose Bowl for the first time since 1997 after rallying to win the Big Ten this season with an overtime victory over Iowa on Saturday. And here? The Wolverines look like they will miss the postseason for the second straight year.
Of course, Michigan has one last chance to cure its case of Buckeye envy this week, and that comes Saturday when the Wolverines host Ohio State. We'll kick off today's links with a focus on the biggest, best rivalry in all of college football.

"We'll kick off today's links with a focus on the biggest, best rivalry in all of college football." The team performance over the last 6 seasons has thrown the rivalry into serious jeopardy. And just looking at the trend during the last 2 seasons, the future looks even worse. Only the sweater vest can save the rivalry now. It's certainly not within Michigan's power to save it as the last 2 seasons have demonstrated. Counting on Jim Tressel to show some mercy and make this game at least look competitive. Keep it to within 2 scores Jim, please.

I'm a buckeye fan and I find the "Boss" remarks disgusting.
