Vince Mottes hit an off-balance, 20-foot jump shot at the buzzer to give Grass Lake High School a 52-49 boys basketball win at Manchester Thursday night.
With the score tied 49-49, Mottes took a sideline inbounds pass with 4 seconds remaining, dribbled twice and launched the shot that won the Cascades Conference opener.
