Dexter boys edge Plymouth; and more results from Tuesday night
PLYMOUTH -- Alex Dobbs came off the bench to score a game-high 14 points and lead the Dexter High School boys basketball team to a 44-42 win at Plymouth Tuesday night.
"Our bench won us the game," Dexter coach Randy Swoverland said, noting the contributions of Dobbs, Jay Lewis (five points) and Tyler Dunham (four points).
Dobbs made four of Dexter's six 3-point baskets in what Swoverland called "a methodical, grind-it-out game." (Rest of the story | Boxscore)

Gee, maybe Swoverland will take a hint from this win and try using his bench more effectively. This guy has used a 6 or 7 player rotation for years and been stung by it too many times, because he doesn't develop a deep bench. He tends to lose games late because his players are tired in the 4th quarter and he gets out-coached.
