4 recruits sign with the Michigan women's basketball team
Two guards and two forwards signed letters of intent with the Michigan women's basketball team, and Wolverines coach Kevin Borseth sounds happy.
"We need ball handlers, we need defenders, and we need a big kid around that basket," Borseth said in a statement. "We feel we have addressed a lot of areas that will help us grow."
The four players committed to Michigan:
Symone Denham, a 5-foot-9 guard from Columbus, Ohio. She was selected last season to the Columbus Dispatch Super 10 team.
Madison Ristovski, a 5-foot-10 guard from University Liggett in Grosse Pointe Woods. Liggett girls basketball coach Wayne Gigante on Ristovski: "She can deliver the ball at any angle at any time to anybody. And she can score whenever she wants."
Rebecca Lyttle, a 6-foot forward from Hollywood Christian in Hollywood, Fla. The Miami Herald on Lyttle: "Lyttle's development into one of the premier small forwards in Florida last season helped the Eagles (31-1) capture their first state title."
Kelsey Mitchell, a 6-foot forward from Inkster. YouTube highlights of Mitchell:
