Evan Turner and John Wall declare for the NBA Draft and the college coaching carousel spins wildly

By Michael Rothstein

The best basketball player in the Big Ten last year won't be around for an encore.

Ohio State junior guard Evan Turner - the almost-consensus national Player of the Year - declared for the NBA Draft on Wednesday.

Calling it an "agonizing decision," Turner leaves Ohio State after a Big Ten championship and Sweet 16 run. He is expected to be one of the Top 2 picks in June's NBA Draft.

Joining Turner on a busy early-entry day were five players from Kentucky, including potential top pick John Wall, freshman DeMarcus Cousins and junior Patrick Patterson.
