Game film of Michigan basketball recruit and Detroit Denby senior Isaiah Sykes

By Michael Rothstein

Michigan basketball recruit Isaiah Sykes, a 6-foot-5, senior guard, scored 18 points for Detroit Denby in its 47-37 win over Kennedy on Tuesday.

Sykes doesn't have an offer from Michigan, but Wolverines head coach John Beilein has watched Sykes play multiple times this season. The uncommitted guard is also being recruited by USC and LSU. After the jump is a game film from Denby's win over Kennedy with Sykes wearing No. 23 in blue.

Can we hire another coach from the University of West Virginia? Sound crazy? WE MUST COMPETE WITH IZZO. Mr Bob Huggins looked really good last night. UWV was well coached and they recruit well. Maybe we raided UWV at the wrong time?
