How will Michigan State fare in the NCAA tournament without Kalin Lucas?

Medical tests revealed Michigan State star Kalin Lucas ruptured his Achilles' tendon. He'll miss the rest of the NCAA tournament. How will the Spartans fare in his absence?

Too bad Sour Grapes are not an exportable commodity. If only! Then Ann Arbor would have a booming economy. All this negative energy, and for what. If you can't be happy for the success of another Big Ten team, can't you at least be indifferent? Why so hostile? Your favorite team sucks, and that's unfortunate, but that has nothing to do with your Green And White neighbors. But no, that's not going to happen, is it. So wrapped up in your own misery, all you want to do is drag everyone else down into your pit of despair. Sad. You can't feel good about yourselves unless your team has a good season, and so you're determined to try to make others as unhappy as you. When MSU's season finally does end, I'm sure there will be postings by the vitriolic to express their delight. No matter, Spartans are happy now, and will stay that way until next season. If MSU goes all way way and wins the championship, I bet someone will post a comment saying something like "Good thing the season is over, I predict MSU would lose their next game." LOL. Have fun hating. I guess if it's all you have left, you should hang on to it.

You forgot to add "Who Cares" as a choice. Classless Izzo is a bore who get more calls to go his way then any other coach I have ever seen.

Hats off to MSU. At least I enjoy watching them and supporting them (any Big Ten team for that matter.) I doubt that a MSU fan would support UM. But we are above that. Izzo has done a excellent job and it all started when M. Taylor rolled over the Ford Explorer and Mateen went to MSU. Still, Izzo coaches with passion and gets these kids to play. Even if they get their teeth knocked out in the process. I hope they make it to the Final Four and keep the great state of Michigan in the hunt. Does anyone know where North Carolina is?

How does this qualify as a UM basketball story on MLIVE? Glad to see that the AA faithful recognize MSU's success this year. Only 11% say State gets blown out and only 26% say they lose a close one. 48% say MSU will win NI but advance no further. That's the limit of this years team and was my vote as well.
