Iowa State will take on Michigan women's basketball team in December at Crisler Arena
The Michigan women's basketball team will face Iowa State for the second consecutive year in the annual Big 12/Big Ten Women's Basketball Challenge.
Most games in the challenge, which is in its second season and features the home-and-home format over two-year periods, will be played Dec. 3-4. Game dates, times and television information will be announced later, the Big Ten announced in a release.
Iowa State beat visiting Michigan, 60-47, in December 2010. This year's matchup will be at Crisler Arena.
Iowa State is coming off a 22-11 season in which it lost in the first round of the NCAA tournament. Michigan went 17-10 in 2010-11.

While you are at it, why not mention that Eastern Michigan Women will be in Crisler this year to take their third win in the last three games with Michigan.
