Video: John Beilein, Tom Izzo after Michigan's 60-59 win over Michigan State
Make it three in a row.
For the first time since 1998, the Michigan basketball program has a three-game winning streak against in-state rival Michigan State.
The 20th-ranked Wolverines got 20 points from freshman point guard Trey Burke and a game-winning layup from senior Stu Douglass to knock off the ninth-ranked Spartans on Tuesday, 60-59.
The two teams haven't seen the last of one another, though, as a rematch date is set for Feb. 5 in East Lansing.
