Johnny B. Gone (Sung to the tune of Chuck Berry's all-time rock 'n Roll classic, "Johnny B. Goode") Way up in Ann Arbor where the cold winds blow, Where winter usually gives us several feet of snow, There lives a head coach named John Beilien, Who lulled us into thinking everything was fine, And now hes only and added to our misery, By snatching defeat from jaws of victory. Well go, go Johnny go! Go, go Johnny go! Go, go Johnny go! Go, go Johnny go! Go, Johnny B. gone! He led us to the tournament of the Big Ten, Where we played the Buckeyes and we thought wed win, All the Maize Rage had begun to shout, Because they thought that Johnny B. would pull it out, But Johnny B. committed coachings cardinal sin, By not guarding the guy that would throw the ball in. Go, go Johnny go! Go, go Johnny go! Go, go Johnny go! Go, go Johnny go! Go, Johnny B. gone! The new AD should send him back to Morgantown, Then we would smile instead of wearing a frown, He didnt know theyd throw the ball to Evan T., Whod dribble up the court and then put a three, Turners thee pointer sounded our death knell, As Johnny put us through 2.2 seconds of hell. (Repeat chorus) (Fade) Willievrine/Berry 2010

Friday, March 12, 2010, a day that will live in infamy in the minds of Wolverine fans. Its the day I officially jumped off the Beilien Bandwagon. Its the day that time stopped and the earth stood still. The last 2.2 seconds of UMs 2010 basketball season will be replayed over and over again in the minds of Michigan fans old and young alike. Eternally etched in their psyche forever. Didnt Beilien learn anything from the 1992 NCAA Championship Game when Kentucky elected not to guard the inbound pass and Christian Laettener caught it and spun around and sank a buzzer-beater with time running out? What was Beilien thinking? Oh, I know, Gee fellas lets drop back into a 1-3-1 zone so we can all have an unobstructed view of Evan Turner as he catches an unguarded pass, dribbles the ball unchallenged across half-court and put up a desperation three to win the game. This was college basketballs answer to footballs prevent defense. Was Johnny B. the only guy in America that didnt know the Bucks would try to get the ball to ET? Matta couldnt have drawn it up any better. It is time for our new AD to do some spring cleaning of its basketball program. Manny go pro and save your career! Please dont languish another year with your talents being squandered by Beiliens Blunders. Thanks for the memories JB.

Give JB and RR a little time. I have to say their recruiting classes the last few years haven't been the greatest, they really haven't had the cream of the crop to work with. They are both implying completely different schemes into their perspective sports. 3 point shooting galore without a pure shooter is tough. And going from pro-style big ten football to spread offense without the right fit players isn't easy either. Look at West Virginia's programs now though, I think they definitely left it a better place than when they came in...Ranked in both sports. Just give it a few years. It is a little hard to swallow all the OSU and MSU fans chewing at us but they're just happy that they finally have something to bark about after 100 years of pain.

Calm down everybody....Breathe.... I think BeeeeeLine and rodriguez are fantastic coaches for michigan. lets not rush to judgment, we need to give these guys time time time to get their "Systems" in place. I think 10 - 15 years at a minimum. Give them Tenure, Open ended contracts with progressive pay scales, mayoral status, and a private jet. whatever it takes to keep these guys in ann arbor.

You may say that OSU had the better team, but the deciding factor was that Michigan had the inferior coach. Michigan played better than expected, only to lose on a great shot, created by a coaching blunder.

Harris stepped up but overall OSU just has a better team and the best player in the land.

Manny did a great job for us today, as did the rest of the team. JB let them down again. Time for Theo to admit his predictions are about as trustworthy as a Jenny Granholm speech
