More often than not last season, Trey Burke was the best player on the floor for the Michigan basketball team.

And recently, playing with a group of his college peers, Burke apparently stood out again.

Burke and fellow Michigan teammate Tim Hardaway Jr. both participated in last weekend's LeBron James Skills Academy in Las Vegas.

Both players were given high praise for their respective performances, but Burke reportedly stood out above the rest.

"Among the standouts were Michigan PG Trey Burke and SG Tim Hardaway Jr., Lehigh guard C.J. McCollum, Murray State PG Isaiah Canaan, North Texas forward Tony Mitchell, and UNLV's Mike Moser," wrote Joe Kotoch of "All five players showed improved skills from the previous season and Burke in particular looked outstanding."

Kotoch broke down the top performers from the camp, which featured 25 of the top college players in the country.

Both Burke and Hardaway made Kotoch's list for "Best Slasher," while Burke also landed on his list for "Best Midrange Shooter."

Basketball scouting site went one step further, calling Burke the best point guard in attendance.

"He showed efficient shot-making, distributed the basketball and had an all-around game," the site explained. "He should be one of the elite point guards in college basketball next season as he continues to progress and impress with his skill level."

Other notable players in attendance were Arkansas point guard B.J. Young, Duke forwards Rodney Hood and Mason Plumlee and Penn State point guard Tim Frazier.
