Three Michigan basketball players earn academic all-Big Ten honors
A trio of Michigan basketball players were recognized for their winter academic achievement Wednesday.
Senior guard Zack Novak, junior guard Matt Vogrich and junior guard Josh Bartelstein were all named to the Big Ten's Academic All-Conference team.
To be eligible for the honor, student-athletes must be second-year letter winners who carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
Purdue and Indiana each led the conference with seven mentions on the list.
The Michigan women's basketball team had five honorees: seniors Courtney Boylan and Carmen Reynolds, and juniors Sam Arnold, Jenny Ryan and Kate Thompson.
