I voted for Hardaway Jr. I felt that after showing flashes last year Morris was poised to take over the team. Novak has always showed great hustle, and it was only a matter of time before STU was going to regain his sharp-shooting form. Hardaway is a freshmen, and lean. I am happy to see that he has found a way to stand out with this team. Morgan's development is slower than I would like, but he does have an opportunity to become a very dominant player in the Big Ten in years to come. I don't think we'll get to the Dance this year, it is a lot to expect. However, it is not outside of the realm of possibility. Though we played good teams close, it does little for our consideration. It does suggest that we are capable of finishing strong, which is what we need to get there. Next year we will be dancing for sure!

Actually the whole team has been a great surprise for many. Many analysts and some fans assigned them and the coach to the trash bin when 2 previous players and assistant coaches left. Many of us had faith they would be better that predicted last fall and they have not disappointed. After all they ARE Michigan Men :+} GO BLUE

I voted for Morris. Why? Because I expected Hardaway to be good. Not quite this good, but good. On the other hand, I thought Morris might go LLP this year. I am very glad that he is now becoming the player we all thought he could be when he was recruited. You never know how someone will react when his team loses over half of its scoring and it's time to step up. Darius Morris has really come through for the team. If the BT has a "most improved player" award, I would think Morris is in pretty serious contention for it. As for Hardaway, I expected him to be very good, unlike a lot of people who called him "overrated" during last year's recruiting season while trashing the class. He is athletically gifted, and has been around NBA players his entire life. Nobody is going to intimidate him. And, eventually, you usually think genetics are going to show up. It doesn't always happen that way, but in Hardaway's case, it certainly appears that his father had most of the dominant genes in the family.

I didn't really want to vote, because it's tough to choose just one player. Morris is obviously very impressive, Hardaway is turning into an animal who can create his own shot, Morgan is becoming a very solid option in the post, and Novak is the heart and sole of the team. Stu Douglass has also improved his game over last year. To think that most of these guys are freshmen or sophomores makes me very excited for the future.
