Michigan basketball team's single-play games include Nebraska, Wisconsin

By AnnArbor.com Staff

Big Ten Conference newcomer Nebraska will not see the inside of Crisler Arena in the 2011-12 basketball season.

The schedule for the 12-team Big Ten Conference basketball season is unbalanced with each team playing four league opponents once and facing the other seven twice. The Big Ten outlined the "single-play" games for each team today, and Michigan will go on the road to face Nebraska and Iowa.

Minnesota and Wisconsin will travel to Michigan in the Wolverines' other two single-play games.

Nebraska went 19-13 last year and lost, 76-49, to Wichita State in a first-round National Invitation Tournament game. Wisconsin (25-9, 13-5) is the only single-game opponent for Michigan that had a winning record in conference play last season.
