Michigan guard Tim Hardaway Jr. named Big Ten Freshman of the Week
Tim Hardaway Jr., who averaged 21.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and two assists last week for the Michigan basketball team, was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week on Monday.
Hardaway scored a career-high 26 points against Indiana in Michigan's 73-69 victory Saturday. He recorded his first career double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds in a 75-66 victory against Northwestern. It's the second time this season Hardaway was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week.
Wisconsin junior guard Jordan Taylor was named Big Ten Player of the Week. Taylor averaged 21.5 points, 4 rebounds and 7.5 assists in victories against Iowa and No. 1 Ohio State.
