Michigan junior guard Manny Harris was reinstated to the Wolverines' basketball team after a one-game suspension, the university said in a release.

"I fully accept the suspension from the coaching staff," Harris said in a statement. "It was the correct decision. I cannot tell you my disappointment for letting my teammates down and showing the lack of leadership that I normally try to provide."

Harris leads Michigan with 19.2 points a game. In his absence, the Wolverines lost to Purdue, 69-59, on Saturday in West Lafayette, Ind..

He will be eligible for Michigan's game against Michigan State on Tuesday.

"It is our hope that Manny will show tremendous growth from his suspension," Michigan coach John Beilein said in the statement. "We look forward to moving on and to having a great practice today."
