Michigan pleased with play down the stretch, Penn State disappointed in its perimeter defense

By Michael Rothstein

Michigan coach John Beilein talks about his team's ability to make “money plays” down the stretch of another Big Ten road game to lead off Sunday’s post-game video clips.

Tim Hardaway Jr. made many of those big plays - scoring all 13 of his points in the final 7:30 of a 65-62 comeback win at Penn State - but he shares the spotlight with his teammates.

Penn State coach Ed DeChellis says he was disappointed with his team’s perimeter defense after Michigan made 9 of 19 shots from 3-point range and Nittany Lions senior guard Talor Battle agrees, saying “we just stand there with our hands down and they knock it in our faces … that was so disappointing.”
