LaVall Jordan looked like he was going to be the next assistant coach at Western Michigan.

Now, the former Iowa assistant is heading to Michigan instead reports Graham Couch from the Kalamazoo Gazette and Western coach Steve Hawkins is not pleased.

He went as far as to say Michigan coach John Beilein was "tampering" with Jordan.

Beliein is searching to replace Mike Jackson, who left for Purdue on Monday. Beilein had previous hired Bacari Alexander in the offseason, also from Western Michigan.
