Will the Michigan men's basketball team be ranked No. 1 on Monday?

The Michigan men's basketball team made its case to be the top-ranked team in the country on Sunday, defeating Illinois 74-60 at one of the toughest places to play in the Big Ten, Assembly Hall. After No. 1 Duke suffered an embarrassing loss to Miami last week, the No. 2 ranked Wolverines have as much of a case for the nation's top ranking. Will the voters with the Associated Press see it that way?

For the first time in a generation Michigan will be #1 in the regular season poll. Fans know it's the last team to be ranked #1 that matter but this is an accomplishment just the same. Congratulations to the team that's worked so hard and to the coaches. There is a true excitement around Michigan basketball again and it's all because of you. Go Blue!

Since I don't know all the AP voters and can't poll them to give you an accurate answer, How about we re-phrase that question as " Do you think Michigan should be #1?" My answer is yes.

The question isn't SHOULD MIchigan be No. 1. The question is WILL Michigan be No. 1? Or to be more specific, do you think Michigan will be No. 1 when the Associated Press poll is released on Monday?
