At Ann Arbor Pioneer tailgating lot, lawn games are the competition before the real game

By James Dickson

Late kickoffs mean plenty of time to kill for college football fans.

AnnArbor.com went out to the Ann Arbor Pioneer tailgating lot to check out the games people play while waiting for the Wolverines to take the field.

What we saw was a mix of old favorites — like beer pong and cornhole — and even a homemade game called "washers," which is like a cousin of beer pong and horseshoes, played with hardware store accessories.

@GoBlueBeatOSU actually... if you watch the video, there was TOTALLY Beer Pong on Pioneer property, along with people drinking booze in the background.

Surely you didn't see "beer pong"....there isn't any alcohol allowed on Ann Arbor school property. The AA cops would have been all over that.
