Big Ten commish: I haven't talked to any schools about joining conference
Big Ten commissioner Jim Delany seemingly squashed talk that Texas had been approached about joining the Big Ten in a radio interview Friday.

Delany told WSCR radio in Chicago the conference "will continue to have a pretty significant geographic connectivity to it."
The commissioner also said no schools have been contacted formally or informally, and that no such discussions would take place until this summer.
At that point, the Big Ten should welcome the Longhorns with open arms, writes Michael Hunt in the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.
