oldmanblue: Until RR does something in the Big Ten -- he's 3-13 currently -- one can't assume he can win BCS games out of the Big Ten. I'm guessing he can, but past performance in a weaker conference is no guarantee of future Big Ten success. His recruiting class is good but it doesn't blow objective people away. Now that it is confirmed that Brandon Graham truly is a stud, his loss on defense may be felt more than people thought.

Sad to see with all the playing time available, the top notch facilities, and an awesome education available RR could do no better than 3rd in the big ten. Should have been a slam dunk number one if the kids had confidence RR could coach them to a championship. Instead they look at the last 2 years and smartly so get nervous.

He will change the program around. Its kinda hard to try change a whole program around when changin the system, getting recruits that can fit his system, and rebuildn the defense that lost many good players b4 RR came in. Its pretty impressive to get recruits wit 2 consecutive years, net year wont be a losin season. Many ppl r over-looking UM, which is not the right thing to do. GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!!

I do wonder how long it will be before U of M will become competitive with the fine folks from Columbus, OH? Has it ever been this lopsided for this long during the past 50 years? So much red in the Big House this year...Amazing.

Dantonio don't need much to keep whipping maize and blue tail. Not bad for a basketball school, eh?

If Rivals ranks UM over OSU, than RR damn well better produce with that talent, no excuses. Also, does Rivals rank RR's 0 National Titles in 17 years as a head coach ahead of Tressel's 5 in 22? Does Rivals rate our 5-7 record ahead of OSU's 11-2? Not an OSU fan by any means, but I would like to get a coach in here who has a chance to beat them.

Tater is somewhere in space. He is Mr. Positive spin. Rich Rod is picking up recruits OSU and PSU don't want. The vest is in on Henderson and that pick up would huge as the kid is a beast

Wait, tater. I thought the star ratings didn't really matter. But what a surprise. If you do subscribe to rating systems, you prefer the one where UM is ranked higher. Next year, when the Scout ranking is above the Rivals ranking, you'll write how Scout has been underrating UM recruits.
