Former Michigan receiver Braylon Edwards to host charity basketball game

Former Michigan receiver and current New York Jet Braylon Edwards will host a charity basketball game at Crisler Arena this spring.

The game, June 19, is expected to feature a number of ex-Wolverines and other celebrities. Mike Hart, Desmond Howard and Steve Breaston are among those scheduled to participate.

All proceeds will benefit the Braylon Edwards Foundation, which helps underprivileged youths.

It would be nice for this once great Michigan Wolverine to reconnect with the University and this is a good step. I'm sure David Brandon had something to do with this, which is a good thing.
