Goblue1984, nice post, except for one small matter. Big East championships mean next to nothing in football. So, Ghost wins this point. As for basketball, the distance between M and OSU is measured in light years. I do not see M ever beating OSU within our lifetime. This was our best effort after 5 years of coach B and meanwhile, Matta has put up another championship team. Since I'm tracking point totals, OSU 1,435,999 M -37

Ghost: Rich Rod's Record (even after Michigan)... 120842 Brady Hoke's Record: 47-50 Rich Rod's Head Coaching Championships: 8! 4 WVIAC and 4 Big East! Brady Hoke's Head Coaching Championships: Goose Egg! Zero! Nil! Rich Rod's BCS Bowl Wins: 1 (Sugar Bowl)... *his team* won a second, though he didn't coach it (Fiesta Bowl - they blew out Oklahoma). Brady Hoke's BCS Bowl Wins: Goose Egg! Zero! Nil! But Brady Hoke is a Michigan man... I mean he grew up here. WRONG. Well he went to Michigan as a student. WRONG. Well he... oh, he was a lackey under Carr. Go Blue. You've really stepped in it this time.

Well, it was a nice ride Denard. You will be missed. Have fun winning the Heisman at Pitt or Auburn or Oregon... Who cares about the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year when you can have a guy with a losing record from a tier 2 conference...

I liked him. A lot. I was unimpressed when I'd heard he was hired. (Ok, OK, I was mad.) But, I think he seems dedicated, and like he really has an idea of not only what he wants to accomplish, but also where he needs to start and what he needs to do to get there. Plus, he just seemed like a really nice guy. Welcome back, Mr. Hoke. I wish you the best. Now, go win us some games! haha

I like him. His speaking manner is unpolished, yet endearing. I think he'll do well. Great hire!

Wow. Hoke is an impressive guy. His manner of speaking and the concepts that he touched on reminded me a lot of Bo. Great Hire for Michigan!
