Ex-Nebraska star and current Detroit Lion Ndamukong Suh says move to Big Ten 'bittersweet'
Ndamukong Suh, the Detroit Lions' first-round draft pick and a former Nebraska star, says seeing the Cornhuskers enter the Big Ten is "a bittersweet feeling because I played in the Big 12. And I always loved saying, 'I'm from the Big 12."
Suh spoke to ESPN blogger David Ubben, and said that because he's playing in Detroit he may have to take in some Big Ten games at Michigan and Michigan State. "If I can squeeze away to the Big House to see my Big Red play, I'd definitely love to," Suh said.

Rich Rod is Michigan's Bill Callahan, so I wouldn't put money on quite that quick of a Michigan turnaround... Outsiders don't prosper at fine institutions like Nebraska and Michigan. On a more related note, this fusion of Nebraska stardom and Michigan potential has me more excited than I've ever been for the NFL. SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUH

Well by the time Nebraska joins the Big Ten, Michigan will be rolling along in 2011. I'm sure he will be witnessing his Big Red team losing to the Wolverines. I mean no disrespect to the Huskers, I am actually thrilled with the addition. Some people don't look at Nebraska as the slam dunk that the President of The Big Ten did. However I do, it made sense and they look to be a perfect fit in The Big Ten. Notre Dame makes perfect sense as well but as the President of The Big Ten at this point I would give up on ND. As ND is quite a catch The Big Ten as a whole has more clout than ND does period. To pursue ND and be denied is embarrassing I'd let them fall to the wayside and pursue other smart choices.
