The offense wasn't pretty, but for Michigan fans the final result was.
A Brendan Gibbons 38 yard field goal with five seconds left gave MIchigan a 12-10 win over in-state rival Michigan State. No surprise, Gibbons led the class in Kyle Meinke's post-game grades, while it was a mixed bag for others.
Now it's your chance to grade the Wolverines' performance in our interactive polls.
What? Michigan played offense on Saturday? Actually, the Wolverines moved the ball decently, but perhaps more importantly, protected it on Saturday. Settling for field goals all afternoon hurt the Wolverines, but they got all the points they needed in the end.
Hard to complain about a defense that only gives up ten points in a game and kept the Spartans out of the end zone in the fourth quarter to set up the late-game heroics.

Did you agree with the offensive game plan? What about the decision to punt late in the fourth quarter and put the game on the shoulders of the defense.
Put it all together, and what do you get?
