The UMass marching band played on despite the loss of its leader. The UMass football team led for much of the first half and charged hard at the end. Michigan sophomore quarterback Denard Robinson had another 345 yards in total offense. Here are images from Michigan's 42-37 victory against UMass at Michigan Stadium on Saturday. I can tell you that Michigan's offense is great with Robinson - hope he can make it through the entire season. These "action" photos are great. Good way to publish the news.

We recruit kids nationally to play defense. Are you telling me our secondary can't play man to man against a pretty much D-2 school so our linebackers can help stop the run. This was a disgrace & I'll be surprised if Michigan can score enough points to win more than 1 or 2 Big Ten games. Quit playing the soft zone and get after people.

I know it has probably been said a thousand times before, but it still bears repeating. Michigan's Defense SUCKS!!! I love Michigan, but it is painful to know that Michigan will not have a chance of winning against the upper echelon of the Big Ten. I just hope RR, realizes that he MUST cultivate a top notch defense. I'm not sure that any Big Ten team will be able to stop Michigan's Offense, but it is no secret that Michigan will be unable to stop OSU, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Iowa or Penn State. I just hope Michigan wins enough games to make them Bowl elgible.
