In support of the Michigan-Notre Dame night game
Reaction to the Michigan-Notre Dame night game in 2011 has been generally supportive in early polling. You can make your feelings known in AnnArbor.com's poll here.
Yogi sums up the feelings of the majority well in the following comment, and is therefore featured in today's comment of the day.
"This is a great idea!!! It will create an atomsphere like never before in the Big House. The early September games as always so stinking hot this will be a nice change. Why would this create anymore problems or cost more than a 3:30 game? I knew their would be at least one wet blanket in the crowd." - Yogi.

It's about time. I absolutely support this especially since the first one is against the Golden Domers. To those of you who are against this because it will interfere with tailgaiting TIE THE GATE WITH YOUR TAIL AND BE GONE.Football should be the focus on a football Saturday in Ann Arbor. If a picnic is that important to you STAY in YOUR BACKYARD or RENT a HALL AND HAVE ONE.

Another way Michigan is sinking to the SEC levels. Bring in RRod, and get put on probation. Bring ion night games, and have people drinking for LONG hours pre-game. The game will end somewhere around 11:30 PM and people will be driving back an hour or two. This is not good for business, not good for the U, not good for fans.

I don't mind the 8 PM kick off; it's the 3 1/2 hour drive home following the game that concerns me.

Full support over here. Anyone who doesn't like this is more than welcome to stay home and give up their seats to the new generation of Michigan fans. Stay at home under your blankets. I'll be with 112,000 strong having a fabulous time.

Our Uni's will look awesome under the lights at the Big House! I am going fo' sure! The only problem I have with this is that it will expose our fan base for their archaic thinking...the dinosaurs will have a fit!
