Iowa fans sometimes do more than cheer the Hawkeyes football team. They flipped cards to make patterns in the stands at Kinnick Stadium at one game earlier this season.

Below is a video of Iowa fans before the start of the Oct. 15 game against Northwestern raising cards to make flags for the the national anthem, then flipping them for a cheer.

The Michigan (7-1, 3-1) at Iowa (5-3, 2-2) game starts at noon Saturday (ESPN).
