RR was an outsider to Michigan, U of M and Ann Arbor. I think that you have to look at the general dysfunction in Michigan and at the top of U of M's athletic department 3 and 4 years ago and agree that THEY BROUGHT IN THE WRONG GUY and that there was no way someone who was an outsider to Michigan, U of M and Ann Arbor could have possibly recognized that he was coming in to head a premium brand that was going into a period of decline, that even the people most people familiar with the brand were not yet open to recognizing. I draw a parallel to someone who would have been brought in to rescue General Motors with "rescue" being defined as "avoiding bankruptcy". It wasn't in the cards. Ford on the other hand was the right employer who hired the right manager (Alan Mulally). I suspect that Martin was more like old GM and that Brandon will be more like Ford and prepare U of M to this time hire a coach, who the Michigan/UM/Ann Arbor culture will to a greater degree accept more than a West Virginia outsider, and who will have some important skills that Rich Rodriguez lacked, as in whatever it takes for a Big Ten team to recruit kickers who can hit more than 4 out of 14 field goals.

Hopefully, Dave Brandon is every bit the calculting business man he's proported to be. It will take a strong move on his part to put this embarrassment behind us. The game TV and radio commentators were speaking of RR in the past tense before half time. Right now, it doesn't matter who's next in line as Head Coach as long as it isn't RR.

We should have declined the opportunity to play today. Thankfully, only on ESPN2 and not a Nationally broadcast game. My bet is DB brings him (the King) back for another year, however. Surprised at the score. I really expected better.

Michigan doesnt need a lesson from Bulldogs to UNLEASH RR and GROB. From a helpless Mich grad living in Syracuse, who couldnt help warn the Mich team.... but then again... Feel bad for Denard - kid deserves MUCH BETTER coaching and teamwork. Hard to be a fan in these embarrassing times

I was thinking before today that it would be 38-21 MSU over UM, but I can see now that was being optimistic. Everything is exactly the same... terrible D, some turnovers, missed FG, RR's deer-in-the-headlights look,... Let's put this whole RR mess to rest. ps- if we can score 55 points in the 4th quarter Theo's prediction can still come true lol.

OK Koolaid Krowd, remind me how this is progress from a 9-3 season the year before the Klown arrived? We can't stop anyone, we can't kick a field goal, we can't punt, after the first couple possessions we can't score, we can't stay on the right side of NCAA rules. So, in a sense, I guess the Koolaid Krowd is right...RR DID turn this program around.
