Make your pick: Who wins the Michigan-Illinois football game?

By Staff

The Michigan football team was as a slight favorite in its game against Illinois early this week, but oddsmakers had turned the game into a "pick 'em" by Friday morning.

So ... pick 'em:

I do not have faith in our team because they do not play on any kind of consistant level from week to week. If they play an outstanding game at least up to their capabilities we could win this game but that is a big if. At this point I watch Mich. because I love the Wolverines in general but certainly not because I have faith in them from week to week. 2-3 more years to give us an idea what kind of coach we hired. Walking from San Diego to Ann Arbor does not guarantee we got a good coach. Walking from San Diego to Ann Arbor does convinvince me that we at least got a coach with enthusiasm. We are not a very good team right now I believe coach will turn this thing around, he needs 2-3 years.

FWIW, the Toledo Blade showed this game as pick 'em this morning. It started the week with UM, as a 3 1/2 point favorite. This one is just too crazy to pick.

I didn't vote yet, but I think this game is going to be a dog fight between two fairly equal teams. If it was at the Big House, I'd have no problem picking Michigan, but...let's hope Michigan can overcome their road blues and get a big victory this Saturday.
