Former University of Tennessee football coach Lane Kiffin talks to reporters on his way out of the University of Tennessee Neyland-Thompson Sports Complex Wednesday, Jan 13, 2010 in Knoxville, Tenn. Kiffin abruptly left Tennessee after one season Tuesday night to return to USC, where he was an assistant coach for six years before embarking on one of the strangest, swiftest and rockiest journeys in recent coaching history.

Michigan is adding recruits, Eastern Michigan is losing them and anger is still simmering over Lane Kiffin's sudden departure from Tennessee.

That's what's new in college football today.

Quarterback Conelius Jones is Michigan's kind of guy, linebacker Davion Rogers could beef up the Wolverines defense and U-M is already working on its 2011 class, writes Dave Birkett at AnnArbor.com.

On the other side of Washtenaw County, Eastern Michigan has lost two quarterbacks. Returning veteran Kyle McMahon transferred to Grand Valley State and incoming recruit Ryan Williams has de-committed.

On the bright side for the Eagles, they can't get any worse than 0-12.
