OSU would beat Stanford. Wisconsin would too. Your fanatic love for Harbaugh makes you think that Stanford is better.

I don't understand the mild swipe at Harbaugh, because there's no way he thinks Ohio State is better than Stanford. Is he really that threatened by Harbaugh??

RR also voted himself as #26 and his team at #27 yet he ranked Jim Harbaugh at #301

Must have been painful for Rich Rod to compile all those teams names knowing how badly he coached the Wolverines, and their name nowhere to be seen. Wonder what song he evoke this time? I could provide a few titles but it's getting near to Christmas and one must be charitable, well, more than charitable in his situation.

Generally they try to select coaches from all of the conferences and rotate among the different coaches so they don't have the same coaches voting each season. While some may vote a coupl years in a row, they don't always vote. As for the qualifications. In other coaches polls I'm aware of, the only voting requirement is to be a member of the coaches association, in the case of football, it is the AFCA. I don't think there is a single college head coach who is eligible for membership that is not a member of the AFCA.

What are the qualifications to be a voting coach? "I'm just asking."
