I like the "Two-Deep" starting lineups. Basically some guys practice better than others. While others play better in games than others. I think the coaches are allowing themselves the opportunity to adjust who is on the field more based on who plays better during a game. This is great for new coaches trying to get a feel for what they have with their players who are running new offensive and defensive systems.

All this is starting to remind me of the movie "Bull Durham," where advice is given on how to answer the press when the same questions come up again and again -- "Baseball is a simple game: you throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. We'll take it one day at a time and the good Lord willing we'll win." What more can Mattison say at this point? After the WMU game there'll be ample opportunity to ask questions again.
