Michigan football coach Brady Hoke's post-Notre Dame press conference

By AnnArbor.com Staff

Michigan football coach Brady Hoke entered his press conference after a come-from-way-behind 35-31 victory against Notre Dame and took his seat. He opened a bottle of water and took a drink. Then he spoke.

"Um, that was an exciting football game."

That line drew laughter, and Hoke offered a small smile and, "Oh, you do have a sense of humor."

For the rest of his press conference, check out the video from MGoVideo.

I would like to contact Coach Brady Hoke about meeting him at his classroom. This is my tenth year coming out from New Hampshire to see my ultra favorite team play . When I first started coming to a game, I could walk for miles, now ten years, later, I need a walker or wheelchair to get around. If this reaches the coach, I would consider this an honor. Please contact me at 603-496-2917. I love the Wolverines and I feel this team can go all the way if the Defense can improve. This is a new season and a very important one for the Wolverines to show they are back. Thank you for your assistance. I pray that my request will be considered. Outstanding coach. Delegates properly and lets the coordinators do their jobs. Notices all details of the game and is a pure teacher and head coach. Some uninformed "fans" or trolls... do not understand why a HC chooses to not wear headphones and criticize him for it...well go google images of Coach Hoke and you will see PLENTY of photos of him wearing cans on the sidelines when at Ball St. or SDSU....he just chooses not to wear them now because he has total confidence in his coordinators... BTW Tom Landry did not wear headphones, either did Lombardi or Bo until the late part of his career... headphones and meddling with your coordinators do not make a great coach... just ask RR... class, integrity and leadership do...just ask Coach Hoke...no wait, he'd never take credit for that...
