Michigan football eyes pair of recruits from Cleveland-area high school
It's been a while since the Michigan football team succeeded in landing a football recruit from Glenville High School in Cleveland, but now the Wolverines are eyeing a pair of talented standouts, according to the Detroit Free Press.
Quarterback Cardale Jones and offensive lineman Aundrey Walker have received scholarship offers from Michigan, the newspaper reported.
Here's the link to the Free Press story.
In 2001, Michigan landed Glenville High School's Pierre Woods, who went on to star for the Wolverines and land with the NFL's New England Patriots.

Both of these players would be really good for us potentially - although @ 350 lbs, Walker probably needs to lose weight. Glenville is a hotbed of talent year in and year out. The article fails to mention that the coach is Ted Ginn Sr. who is a big-time shill for Ohio State. His son played there obviously, and he is known to steer players toward OSU (as opposed to being objective). So, Michigan may be fighting somewhat of an uphill battle.

2011 give me a break that's like light years away. Let's stick with 2010. I live in Calif. and to hear the doomsday people we might be in the ocean by 2011. Some complainers even suggest RR won't be here in 2011. I think I'll concentrate on 2010 for now.

Cardale Jones might end up being as good as Cornelius Jones and Aundrey Walker is now nearly as good as Derrick Walker was. The King is now out-recruiting the sweater dress!!!
